At SABSEG, we are looking for an IT Manager for Italy to lead the local IT function, ensuring alignment with the Group’s technology strategy while acting as the key link between the local business and the corporate IT team.

Your Role

As IT Manager Italy, you will lead the IT function in the country, ensuring the effective implementation of the Group’s technology policies, standards, and architecture.

You will serve as the primary point of contact between the local business (CEO Italy) and the Group CIO, coordinating vendors, managing the local IT budget, and leading integration and digital transformation initiatives.

This position requires availability to travel within Italy and occasionally to other countries where the Group operates.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent the IT function in Italy before the local CEO and the Group CIO.

• Ensure compliance with Group IT policies, standards, and architecture.

• Manage the local IT budget, controlling costs and prioritizing investments.

• Act as the main point of contact between Italy and the Corporate IT team.

• Participate in IT committees and cross-functional Group projects.

• Lead local projects related to:

  • Infrastructure

  • Applications

  • Digitalization

  • Systems integration

• Coordinate local and international technology providers.

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

• Guarantee the operational continuity of IT systems in Italy.

• Coordinate initiatives related to:

  • Cybersecurity

  • Data Protection (GDPR)

  • DORA compliance and local regulations

• Manage critical incidents and contingency plans.

• Select, coordinate, and evaluate IT vendors, including contract and SLA negotiations.

• Understand local business needs and translate them into effective IT solutions.

• Promote the adoption of corporate tools such as Microsoft 365, ERP, CRM, and other Group platforms.

What We Are Looking For

• Previous experience as an IT Manager or in a similar role.

• Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Proven experience in IT project management and vendor coordination.

• Strong knowledge of corporate IT environments and standards.

• Ability to align local business needs with corporate strategies.

• Strong communication skills and business-oriented mindset.

• Availability to travel.

• Knowledge of the insurance sector.

Nice to Have

• Certifications in Project Management (PMP) and/or IT Service Management (ITIL).

• Experience working in international environments.

• Insurance industry experience.

• Knowledge of:

  • Microsoft 365

  • JIRA (Atlassian)

Languages

• English – Advanced level

• Italian and/or Spanish – Valuable
